Frequently Asked Questions

How do I connect my FourFour website with ArtistData?

If you're not already familiar with ArtistData, it's an online service that helps you manage your information across many different websites by entering shows and news just once and having it automatically update social network profiles, concert databases, Twitter, official news feeds, iCal, and more, for you. It's a great way to easily update your Myspace, Facebook, and Twitter accounts, as well as general event websites like Zvents, Eventful and SonicLiving, all in one place.

To integrate your FourFour website with ArtistData, you will first need an ArtistData account. If you don't already have one, go to ArtistData and create one.

After creating your new ArtistData account, or if you already have one, go to your ArtistData settings page inside FourFour (click the "Account" tab in the main menu and then click the "ArtistData" link in the left sidebar menu - under "Twitter" in "Settings"). This is where you'll get your FourFour Site Identifier code, which you'll need to enter into ArtistData.

  1. make a copy of your FourFour Site Identifier code (i.e. FF-XXXXXXXXX)
  2. go to ArtistData and login to your ArtistData account
  3. click the "Tools" tab in the main menu
  4. click on "Profile Sync"
  5. in the left sidebar menu, you'll now see a list of sites displayed under "Profile Sync"
  6. click on "FourFour"
  7. paste your FourFour Site Identifier code into the "Site Identifier" field
  8. click "Activate"

Please note that, currently, ArtistData syndicates updates from their system once a day in the morning. So it may take up to 24 hours for your ArtistData posts to show up on your FourFour website.
